GIVE A RECURRING GIFT AND BECOME AN ARW GEM

Our GEMs Give Every Month because of their ongoing belief in and support of our mission. Your gift can be as small as $5 a month or as large as you wish.

LEGACY CIRCLE
Members of the Legacy Circle have included ARW in their estate planning through a bequest, charitable trust or other planned giving vehicle. These generous contributions often have tax benefits for the donor as well.

IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS
From the folks at Tek-3 who host our website and the Jockey employees who put together backpacks for adoptive families, to the Google grant which advertises our programs on the Internet and the donated billboards provided by members of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Wisconsin, Adoption Resources of Wisconsin receives enormous benefits from in-kind donations -- as do the children and families we serve.

ADVOCATE

Contact your local newspaper or television news program and urge them to use positive adoption language. If you’d like a list of positive adoption language and a sample letter to send to your local media, please contact us.

BECOME A HOST OR HOSTESS

• Challenge yourself – and your friends and family – to a hike, run or walk. Collect pledges per mile or step and donate the proceeds.
• Have a pot luck dinner at your home with friends who may be interested in foster care or adoption – or learning how to support our cause. Ask your guests to bring a dish to pass and a donation to ARW. We’d be happy to have a staff member come talk about our mission and our programs.
• Get together for a movie night with your friends or family. Instead of purchasing snacks at the show, donate the money you would have spent to ARW.[endif]
• Ask the owner of your favorite shop or boutique about having a trunk show at your home. Invite your friends and family and ask the owner to donate a percentage of the sales to ARW.
• Have a yard or garage sale to benefit ARW.

CREATE A PERSONAL FUNDRAISING PAGE

Visit www.firstgiving.com and create your own fundraising page for ARW. Email the page to family and friends and challenge yourself to meet a specific goal. You can also create a tribute page in memory or in honor of a loved one.

START THE WAVE

Send an e-mail to your family and friends telling them why you support ARW and why you’d like them to do the same. Include a link to our website and encourage everyone to pass the e-mail along to their friends and family members.
